Biography
Naweed Tajuddin is a M.A.Sc. student in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Toronto. His research explores optimization techniques and heuristics for dynamic overlay construction in distributed content-based publish/subscribe systems. He has also examined emerging Web-based publish/subscribe standards with the goal of helping to achieve industry consensus and increase adoption. Prior to pursuing graduate studies, Naweed completed his B.A.Sc. degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Toronto in 2006, and worked as a mobile phone developer for Motorola Canada.
