Biography

Alex Cheung is a PhD student in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Toronto. Alex's current research centers around overlay routing, load balancing, load optimization, and security in distributed publish/subscribe systems. His M.A.Sc research involved building a dynamic load balancing algorithm for heterogeneous content-based publish/subscribe messaging systems. In his spare time he enjoys playing computer games and learning Japanese and Korean.
